A local video editor who lost family members in Haiti created this original song with footage of the destuction following Haiti's recent earthquake. Please watch this 3 minute video, listen to the words of the song and respond to any aspect that is meaningful to you. We will continuing discussing and reading about some of the current problems and their historic causes in class. Please respond to this before our group seminar.

What happen in Haiti is a thing that will never be forgotten. Many people died and familys where lost. We may think it hurt us but think about how they feel they lost their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, jobs and more. It affect them more then anybody. Haiti is the Third World Country and now they lost every little bit they had and it wasnt a lot. So Help Haiti....!
ReplyDeleteThis video was very sad to see. I hope that peolpe help the peolpe in Haiti. That yall need donate or i hope that yall are still donating to Haiti. So all the people that seen this video please help. They need help.
ReplyDeletethe people didnt need to have that kind of thing happen to them and they should try to do something about it and redo everything that was destroyed. we could help them do somethig about it because it would be a good thing to do for the people thatg live in Haiti. we could send them back to a place where we can help them get back on there feet and work on the things that they wont back up and running. they could try not to cut down the trees and just ask them forsome food and they should just give it to them so they wouldn't be starveing. bud

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this video I had tears in my eyes. I just feel so sorry for all of the people that lived in the houses that fell down. This video made me realized how lucky to still have my home, but a lot of people in Haiti don’t have enough money to buy food for there family.
