Wow! It is hard to believe that November is here already! It was really fun reading the stories with ironic twists and surprises last week. If you enjoyed "The Last Leaf" by O'Henry or "Death by Scrabble" last week, you might really enjoy "The Necklace" by Guy De Maupassant. They can all be found at http://www.short-stories.co.uk/ .
Thank you for coming and sharing your own ghost tales. That was really fun and you all did a wonderful job!
So now we move on. I hope you enjoyed the electronic book fair and book browsing we've been doing.
Today we reviewed:
Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
Hush by Jacqueline Woodson
Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson
Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko
NightJohn by Gary Paulsen
Sharkbait (not in out library yet)
Forged By Fire by Sharon Draper
You need to choose a book to read and complete a book project by Thanksgiving. Which was your favorite? Have you read anything else that you would add to our list?
